Rosina Castelli Gerome (right) with her sister Dominica.
Rosina and sister moved from Ascoli Piceno, Italy to the USA in 1936 and raised their own livestock on a farm in West Virginia, where they first began making sausages and other food from their hometown.

Rosina Gerome moved to Bistol, PA with her family and started the original "Gerome's Market" with her son Silvio in 1955.

Silvio and son Michael Gerome outside of Gerome's Market in Bristol PA, 1974. There they eventually made fresh sausages, italian meats and cheeses, plated regional foods and specialty grocery items until 1995.

Michael Gerome reopened the market as "Gerome's Sausage Company" in 2007, where they make the same recipes today in Langhorne, Pa.

Today you can find Gerome's Market in Salt Lake City, UT at various farmers markets and special events.
